help to raise funds for the Village garden show..
BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CLUB
A Flower Show Committee was formed more than 50 years ago as part of the
war effort to help in the growing of food to provide food for hungry
mouths. Our oldest prize the Home-guard Cup dates back to these times.
After the war the emphasis remained on food production as shortages and
rationing lasted till well into the fifties. Gradually flowers became
equally important and handi-craft skills were introduced into the show.

informal barbeque amongst themselves.A weatherproof notice board is also provided for information.
